People heading to the sunflower fields and Akeno's summer
Summer scenes from the Akeno Sunflower Festival
People who came to see the sunflowers headed toward the fields one after another. Beyond them stretched the summer sky and thunderheads.
This photo was taken at the Akeno Sunflower Festival in Akeno, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The sunflowers, the visitors, and the distant clouds all combined to make the whole venue feel like summer vacation.
