Clouds Closing In over Cebu's Waterfront
Clouds Filling the Sky Overhead
Looking up in Mactan, Cebu, I saw massive clouds stacked layer upon layer.
Buses traveled along the elevated roadway above a waterfront neighborhood, while several boats floated in the foreground. Each element could have held my attention on its own, yet in that moment the sheer size of the sky seemed to encompass the entire scene.
The vivid blue of the tropical sky and the clouds that appeared to press toward me made the scale of the scene unforgettable.
